What is Taiwanese cuisine?

Taiwanese cuisine usually has some influences from mid to southern provinces of Mainland China and also Japan. In modern Taiwanese cuisine, they also draw some from the west.

Tofu is one of the major ingredients to Taiwanese, it has many different variety of tofu and many ways to cook.

Is your food suitable for vegan?

Most of our dishes are vegan. We use very little egg and dairy products. We do have vegan options if the dishes are not vegan.

What about gluten free option?

Yes we do have gluten free options. Gluten-free and/or other special request(especially for banquet) need advance notification through phone booking to allow time for special preparation.

Do you allow BYO for wine or beer?

Sorry, no alcohol in the house. (by law and by our choice)

How healthy is your food?

All our dishes are homemade, we even make our own spring roll sheet, tofu to mayonnaise. No Mono-sodium glutamate (MSG) preservative, artificial colouring or flavouring added.

What can I expect at Veggie Kitchen?
